In this video I show how I build a DIY pull out sofa bed from scratch which extends in width to the side of the kitchen unit cupboards. The DIY pull out sofa bed is constructed in a manner that creates a large amount of storage and allows access to the storage from above by lifting the bed slats up, or from below by folding down the bed storage doors. The sofa bed is upholstered using a 4" memory foam mattress which is upholstered in a VW Campervan style pattern material which finishes off the sofa bed nicely.
