Moving to Austin with the Mangin Team

Ready to explore Austin's hidden gem, the Provence neighborhood? Join Shannon Mangin as she takes you on a tour of some of the best neighborhoods surrounding Austin. Today, Shannon looks inside Provence, one of the newest masterplanned communities near Bee Cave, Texas. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, Provence offers home sites that back onto green spaces, providing beautiful views of rolling hills and oak trees. The community features a small vineyard for aesthetics, adding to its French charm.

Located between Bee Cave and Dripping Springs, Provence offers easy access to both areas via Hamilton Pool Road. Residents can enjoy the amenities of the Bee Cave Galleria or head to Dripping Springs. Downtown Austin is just 22 miles away, making it convenient for those who enjoy city life. The community is zoned for Lake Travis schools, with Bee Cave Elementary and Middle School nearby, making it an attractive choice for families.

Provence offers a range of home prices and sizes. Builders like David Weekley and Newmark Homes offer smaller houses starting in the $600s, while higherend homes by Weston and Drees range from the low $1 million to $1.5 million. The community will have about a thousand homes when completed and already features a clubhouse, community center, and swimming pool.

Despite some ongoing construction to widen Hamilton Pool Road, Provence remains a highly desirable neighborhood. Shannon invites viewers to share their thoughts in the comments: Would you prefer building new and dealing with some construction, or opting for a resale home in an already established neighborhood?
