Different Yarn Weights Explained - for Beginners

Follow
ExpressionFiberArts

Hello, beautiful soul! Welcome back to the channel.

If you're new to the yarn world, I know different yarn weights (thicknesses) can be confusing. We're not talking about how much the yarn weighs on a scale; we're talking about how thick the strand is. This is referred to as the yarn weight.

You can have various yarn weights like lace weight, fingering weight, sport weight, dk weight, worsted weight, chunky weight, bulky weight, super bulky weight, etc.

In this video, I show you examples of those different weights and what that means for you when deciding on projects.
