Trains On The Hill! Big Department Of Defence ( DOD ) Load On Train With DPU. The DPU Is Pennsylvania Railroad Locomotive 8102 On The Rear Holding The Train Back As It Drops Over The Big Hill Into The Ohio River Valley. This is a Norfolk Southern Railroad train in Crescent Springs, Kentucky. Go to 10:40 to see the 6 axle heavy duty flat car. What is that thing on the car?
This videos starts with a big train going up the hill with a DPU. The locomotives are working hard and sounding great. Then we see a big steel coils train go up the hill with 2 locomotives on the front.
Next, I go one mile south on the same line to catch some trains at the small town park. This is where we see the train with the DOD going down the hill. Listen to the locomotive on the next train going up. It is the only locomotive on this local freight.
Another big train goes down the hill but stops for about half an hour next to me. After that I go back to the railroad crossing at Beechwood Road where the video started. Another big train drops down the hill. This train is a big grain train on its way to Gest Street Yard in Cincinnati and points beyond. Thanks for watching !
