De-Mystifying Early V-Tail Bonanza Operation Pt 1: Ground Introduction

Ben Weeks Bonanza Pilot

I cannot tell you how many times I have encountered potential aircraft buyers who tell me that they love the idea of owning and operating an early Vtail Bonanza, but their (insert CFI, friend, acquaintance) told them that they are too difficult to fly, too dangerous, or too hard to maintain. This is the first part of a series meant to shatter the myth that the "Eseries" Bonanza (19471956) is not an ideal aircraft for General Aviation use.

I am nothing more than a low time private pilot who loves Bonanzas, and I am by no means an expert. Hopefully, this video series will help start the conversation, and perhaps convince new pilots to consider an aircraft that they otherwise wouldn't have. As I mentioned in the video, I highly recommend joining Beechtalk.com and purchasing Lew Gage's book https://americanbonanzasociety.squa... if you would like more information on these amazing machines.
