The day after my diagnosis of leukemia I was taken to another hospital to start chemotherapy as soon as possible. The week my cancer treatment began was a blur with so many people trying to help and support me, from my medical team to family and friends.

We all just had to take it day by day.

20 years later I just had the best family camping trip and I am so grateful to be here. I would have never guessed 20 years ago that I would be this connected into my life, this happy and healthy.

It is my hope that my cancer vlog with acute myeloid leukemia connects to the people who need inspiration and hope.

There were days I wanted to give up and my leukemia story vlog is a peak into 20 years ago when I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. My treatment including the good days, bad days, worse days and the humor we infused throughout.

Then fast forward to today. My ordinary life that is extraordinary. This doesn't mean all of my days are happy and sunny, it doesn't even mean that I appreciate every day though I should. It means that I'm at a point where my cancer journey is a part of me rather than it defined me.
