The excitement on our farm reaches new heights as we gear up for the highly anticipated avocado planting! In this third episode, you'll witness the transformation of the land as we meticulously prepare it for the arrival of our precious avocado saplings.
The day begins with a flurry of activity as we plow the soil, breaking up the earth and creating the perfect canvas for our agricultural masterpiece. With each pass of the plow, we turn over the soil, ensuring it is wellaerated and ready to receive the nourishing manure that will provide the essential nutrients for our plants to thrive.
Once the plowing is complete, we embark on the laborintensive task of digging individual holes, each measuring approximately 1 foot deep and 1 foot wide. These carefully crafted holes will serve as the cozy homes for our avocado plants, allowing their roots to establish themselves and flourish in the rich, fertile soil.
As we toil away, our beloved cousins arrive, bringing with them not only a refreshing dose of coffee but also an infectious energy and joy. In a lighthearted moment, we break from our work to dance and celebrate the camaraderie that stems from working the land together.
