Bono and Dora, so cute and adorable, 5 year old pugs and they are twin brothers. They live with another human baby sister. And to live with this human baby sister, they started to shave hair. Because Pugs are a breed that has more hair loss.. Pugs eliminate yearround, while most other dogs eliminate seasonally. All dogs go through a threestep process of growth, rest and hair loss. The Pug breed tends to go through this cycle much faster than other large or small dogs.

But it was not easy to decide to shave Pugs as they have double coats, to protect their skin and maintain the ideal body temperature. Pugs stick their tongues out and breathe faster, some owners think the shaving hairs will help take away some of this heat. Doublehaired Pugs, the new fur will grow back, but the undercoat will grow back first. The texture of the soft undercoat absorbs the sun's rays, making your dog warmer in summer. If you need to groom your pugs because of their fur allergy, protect your Pug with sunscreen when you're exposed to the sun for more than 10 minutes.

The pug hair after shaving grows back normally. Bono and Dora always shave hairs every 2 months, I shave many other pugs, they grow fur the same as before. But if you're worried, try it on a small area of ​​skin first and see how it grows back.

But if you're okay with allergies, a quick daily brushing, or even scrubbing with a dog glove, is usually enough for the coat.
