Crispy Okoy or Okwi in kapampangan a Filipino appetizer or favorite snack. Here’s my simple recipe that surely you will enjoy its crunchilicious!
Ingredients:
1 medium Squash ( you can use green papaya, sweet potato, carrots)
1 medium Cassava or Yucca
1 onion
small shrimps
For the batter:
1/2 cup flour
1 cup cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp annatto powder
1 tbsp fish sauce
Dipping Sauce
1 cup cane vinegar
garlic, oinion, red chilles,
salt & pepper to taste
Cooking oil for frying
