Now granted, one of the advantages of owning an electric vehicle is you don't have to pay for gas. You do however need to pay for electricity. Having said that, how much is your electric bill going to go up if you own a Tesla or any EV for that matter.

I explored the real cost of charging our Tesla Model 3 over the course of a month. Using our new electric plan, our July 2022 electric bill, and the Tesla app to understand our energy consumption for the month, we have a better understanding of the cost in charging our Model 3. This does not include the Supercharger network or any free level 2 charging that we get at work. It only factors in the cost of charging at home.
