Upstart CoLab is connecting capital with creative people who make a profit and make a difference, working at the intersection of impact investing and the creative economy, which includes industries such as fashion, film and TV, and food. 

During our 2024 Climate + Social Impact Week, attendees heard from Upstart CoLab's Laura Callanan, founding partner, and Aparna Bagade, senior associate, about their recent launch of the first investment vehicle focused entirely on investing in the US creative economy, and learned about how investing in creative businesses can be a powerful driver of quality jobs, social and economic inclusion, and vibrant communities.
