The Concept2 BikeErg works right out of the box with Zwift! The PM5 transmits via bluetooth to Zwift so you're able to pass both Watts and Cadence to a device that can receive bluetooth signals. With my Mac, it connected immediately. If you have an issues, check out the Zwift companion app which can help bridge the connection. In the past I had a smart trainer on my road bike which required a ton of extra sensors to transmit data and would often drop the Zwift connection. The BikeErg is affordable, extremely well built, and just works. 100% recommend for a very painful, but fun, Zwifting experience.
