Competitive rabbit hopping is a hareraising sport, where rabbits on leads are led through a course of jumps with the goal of hopping to the top of the podium.

The Rabbit Hopping Society of Australia was formed in 2013, and since has enjoyed a small but fervent community of hoppers.

And for hoppers like Vanessa Allan, it’s an escape from reality and the highlight of her week.
