This is part 3 in a series of Off Road Colorado Adventures. I depart my campsite at the southern terminus of the Last Dollar Trail and head back around the mountain to Riley and then Ouray. I decided to skip the Ophir pass trail for this time to run the Red Mountain Mining Area Trail #12. After finishing up the trail, I drop down into Silverton for a quick look before returning home. By the time I pass Ouray, the dark cloud and rain descend so I am glad I did not do Ophir pass in the rain next time!!
