Whether your market is shifty now or not, it will be. We're going to prepare to make sure that our communication with clients is on point and we know how to use data and stories to show clients where they need to be.

In this episode, Amy & Kevin share a regular communication plan from the Listing Retention course. When market velocity slows, we want to ensure that our communication doesn't slow. In fact we should ramp up the communication, and convey what steps we're taking to continue to market their property, even when properties aren't moving as quickly as earlier in the year.

Kevin talks about using cautionary tales and success stories to convey where clients should be, Amy talks through how to set expectations early (it makes difficult conversations less difficult later), and they wrap with a reminder that all markets are different.

Your market may be slowing, or your market may still be moving. Maybe you're in a mixed market where different price points are moving at different paces. No matter what's happening in your market, communication, setting expectations, and using stories so sellers can relate is the win in ensuring that your clients choose the right place to position their property.
