Day 14 of solo hiking the Coast to Coast, the final day! As arranged the previous night by Callum at Blakey Ridge, I was picked up by a lovely couple who took me down into Glaisdale. I chose to do this for a couple reasons, being time & having my devices charged, a safety precaution I won't compromise.

If I had continued on from Blakey ridge into Glaisdale the previous night, my devices would've been completely out of charge and I didn't have a plan for anywhere to stay once there, so I likely wouldn't have been able to have charge the following day.

As I said, as a solo female hiker, communication is a must & I'm not an idiot so I wouldn't go anywhere without a charged phone, never mind the middle of nowhere.

So, with that along with needing to communicate with Cameron when & where I was to be picked up from the following day, I was offered to charge my devices & have a place to camp (for £3!) as WELL as a lift into Glaisdale the next day! How could I say no? I totally appreciate the kindness of strangers, and this was demonstrated to my throughout my hike. There's nothing quite like good hiker etiquette.

So, once in Glaisdale, I set off towards RHB. I stopped for some cake & a coffee at a little stop off the side of the path, which was awesome. I hiked through woodland & cute villages such as Egton Bridge & Grosmont. Following the steep, steeeep climb out of Grosmont, I chatted to a couple of elderly hikers who gave me encouragement & a nice break for a couple minutes, my legs needed it!

Once up high & on the flat moor plane, I chat to you guys about the highs & lows of this journey, from breaking down in tears to genuinely having the time of my life in the most astonishing places in the country.

I make it to RHB with Cameron as we hiked the last mile together, stopping for some chips on the way (a place he'd actually been to years previous!) and threw my little pebble into the North Sea as per tradition. And my feet definitely got wet too! I like to think it was the sea congratulating me. :D

The final five minutes is a reflection on the hike over the past two weeks, which I hope you guys enjoy!

So, now my C2C journey has come to an end, my next video in a few weeks will actually be a FULL length movieversion of the C2C. Basically all the daytoday videos in one, 8 hour long film!

Following this I have so much more to put out to you guys... day hikes, long distance trails (such as the Great Glen Way!), travels & trips abroad, camping trips both alone & with others and so much more.

Thank you to everyone watching, I appreciate each and every one of you!
