Chevy is a super friendly 2 year old male Basset Hound mix that arrived to the shelter on 3/29/24 after roaming in his neighborhood for several days. he was posted several times on neighborhood websites happily approaching people and (big & small) dogs being walked YET no owner ever came to help him :|

Chevy contracted a pretty severe upper respiratory infection within days of arriving to the shelter restricting a lot of his time to enjoy exercise out of his kennel. Although he was recently cleared of illness (it's about time), he is suffering horribly at the shelter due to the month long lack of daily exercise and restrictions from being able to play with other dog friends at the shelter. Chevy needs foster, adoption, or rescue soon before he finds himself on the shelters urgent list due to severe levels of kennel stress and apparent poor quality of life.
