In short, I am a former track day enthusiast who is going racing and very much learning on the job.

In this video I am at a Test Day at Silverstone International Circuit for the first time, as I have only ever done the GP circuit in my previous visits.

This day was always going to be interesting as I was sharing my driver coaching with a bonafide racing driver in Chris Moore, who races in the CSCUK championship as a ProAm driver.

As you will see from the footage, it is no surprise that Chris was slightly faster than me, to the tune of 0.5 secs a lap through the traffic.

The racing drivers among you will see that I am still struggling to shake off some of my 'track day driver habits' however this was a good step forward in my development, with some closer track action, over taking a plenty and spending time on track with a competent driver in exactly the same car.

I have two more test days booked before Acidcat 2.0 arrives and project lets go racing truly kicks off in 2024.
