This video demonstrates making card backgrounds using both napkins and using newspaper. Although the techniques demonstrated in this video are focused on card making, the same techniques could also be used for scrapbooking, party decor, or home decor.

Some of the mixed media techniques demonstrated are decoupage, stamping, die cutting, ink blending for an antiqued look, and adding a touch of nostalgia with sealing wax. Various mediums are utilized including Distress Inks, embossing paste, Mod Podge and Golden Regular Gel Matte. This video is suitable for both the beginning paper crafter (as a "how to") up to the advanced paper crafter (layout and card making inspiration).
