With the launch of the new Jackery 3000 Pro right around the corner, I thought it'd be nice to talk about all the ways you can power your home, and use all of the appliances and devices you're accustomed to using. The 3000 Pro will make it easy to live a nearly normal life, but you may want to consider the other smaller Jackery models as well, as there can be some benefits to using the smaller versions.

However, if you plan to run multiple circuits and multiple appliances simultaneously, the 3000 Pro is your best option. While the inverter will consume a lot of power, it can still be more efficient than running multiple smaller inverters. It can also be easier, especially with a transfer switch installed in your house.

Always consult with an experienced electrician before buying a transfer switch, and I also recommend having it installed by them as well.

If you plan to run a standard refrigerator, try to only open it once every 4 hours. Standard household refrigerators are very well insulated, and lose most of their cold air by opening the door. If you have multiple people in the house, get everyone on the same eating schedule. This will reduce the power needed dramatically!
