A Malay wedding traditionally includes a feast attended by about a thousand guests. But what does it take to feed all of them? In this episode of Eat Up, Masterchef Singapore winner Derek Cheong joins one of the oldest Malay wedding caterers to help cook for not just one, but three Malay weddings in a day. His journey takes him to a central kitchen where, despite the lack of refrigeration, food is prepared for 3,000 people. What tricks and techniques will he learn to put food out fresh and on time? And will a missing van meant to deliver food to one of the three wedding venues threaten to derail everything?
