NO U TURN takes you through a journey back in time to see the world's largest stepwell in Rajasthan's Abhaneri district CHAND BAORI.

"Baori" in local lingo means "waterwell" and this well is named after the king CHAND diring who's time it is known to have been constructed.

At 35 mts wide and 30 mts deep, this well presents itself in absolute magnificence! The simple yet intricate geometric symmetry of the steps on 3 sides of the structure plays with ambeint lights throughout the day and the shadows present the most enchanting views!

Mostly used for recreational purposes, this step well also had beautiful galleries and terraces and historical references to some of these being contructed at various timeframes during the course of its existence. Some of the corridors now hold ruins of the ambience as well as the neighbouring Harshad Devi temple.
