You may know about India’s caste system which is an ancient social hierarchy that dates back 3,000 years. Castebased discrimination was outlawed in 1950 but it still exists in many aspects of Indian society. For example, even though intercaste marriages were legalized in 1954, only a small percentage of marriages in India are actually intercaste. Why is that the case and how do Indians feel about intercaste marriages today? Our Asian Boss reporter hit the streets of Delhi to find out.
