Sometimes when working with a translated part file, the thread callouts on your holes can be lost in the translation. In this video, we will see how you can use a simple function in the feature definition to assign the thread callout, which then links to a machining strategy in the TechDB. This is a great example of how even with translated parts that lose data we can still benefit from the automation present in SolidWorks CAM and CAMWorks.
