Well, what an epic week it’s been!!

In seven days Clare and Duncan, with the invaluable and extensive help of their cousin Andrew, have built not one but two greenhouses on their kitchen garden and home allotment vegetable plots.

Watch the video to see some footage of the build of the Halls Popular 8ft x 6ft greenhouses, including how the footings were constructed, and hear a few pointers along the way to make a DIY project greenhouse build go smoothly. One of the greenhouses is constructed brand new, the other is a free marketplace greenhouse.

One greenhouse is fitted with beautiful staging from ​⁠@copagrey, and Clare talks briefly about the ease of making it and her plans for that glass house

There’s a mini tour of the new greenhouse on the lawn, which will be used for seed starting/potting on. A great project that will take Clare one step closer to achieving a goal of part time self sufficiency as part of a “grow your own food” project.
