FOR THE ARBOR: (I used cedar for the arbor material)

(8) 4x4x8 posts
(8) 2x2x8 boards
(10) 2x4x8 boards

FOR THE FENCING: (I used pressure treated lumber for the fencing)

(8) 4x4x8 posts
(20) 2x4x8 boards
(20) 2x2x8 boards
(8) fence post caps (optional)

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED:

(25) cedar fence pickets (to build garden beds inside fence)

Weed barrier fabric, gravel, pavers, mulch, soil as desired for inside
(4) 80 lb bags concrete to set posts

NOTE: There are varying opinions on using treated wood in and around the garden. I recommend you do your own research as there are a lot of factors to considernot all soils are the same, not all treated wood is the same, not all applications are the same. We did our own research and built our garden the way we did intentionally and mindful of the pros and cons.

To be honest, what they're spraying on the crops in all of the fields nearby and all the garbage they add in processed foods are far more of a concern to me than treated wood posts...but I digress.
