10 month old Brussels Griffon came with some issues jumping, biting heels, not coming when called and not knowing how to hold still. We did NOT have the goal of teaching her how to be calm and still all of the time, but certainly there are times when it's important for Greta to stay in a place. We taught this by FIRST showing her how to appropriately be her funloving, chasing, biting self through play. We then used play to create motivation for obedience and to develop our communication with her. She did fantastic at learning how to be herself fully acceptably and where some of her behaviors weren't acceptable. She also learned that I, and her mom, are the coolest things around, so reliable recall came easy. Even OFF LEASH!
