3 Year old American Bully "Rio" had been to several other trainers and under several other training philosophies. He knew his obedience very well and loved to play by the time I got him, but was still struggling with being anxious and pushy around other dogs and some strong reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. We developed his play into very specific games with goals and rules so make play even more fulfilling but to also setup our language and relevance when he's amped up. We then used our new relevance to show him how to be amped up around other dogs who may also be amped up while still knowing we have everything under control so he doens't need to be anxious. He killed it in a variety of settings with a variety of distractions even off leash!
