This video is a personal one, documenting our first week with our 'old style' Siamese kitten. He was 13 weeks old when we brought him home, and he's a chocolate point.

I have paused comments because the video has been pushed to a much larger audience than I anticipated it would when I first published it. Almost all of the comments I have received have been kind and lovely, but a small number of people have been rude, bossy, and unpleasant. As the video gets pushed further and further by the algorithm, I'm receiving more and more of these types of comments. It goes with the territory of a popular video about animals and most of the time negativity doesn't bother me, but because this video is more personal than my others, and not part of my regular video schedule, I've just decided to opt out so that I don't have to moderate hurtful comments.

To the vast majority of my lovely viewers who have just stumbled upon this video because you're welcoming a new kitten, or a Siamese cat, I hope you have a wonderful time getting to know them and enjoy many happy years together. From one cat lover and servant to another, I wish you all the best.
