It feels weird to us that the most expensive baseball bats are also the least durable (composite) and they aren't necessarily any better performing than alloy at the BBCOR level (not really true for USSSA though).
This video definitely boosts the argument for alloy/aluminum bats cheap, durable, no breakin required, and often endloaded nukehitting bats.
