In my this painting video, I’m exploring the blend of cool blues and warm copper in a botanicalthemed painting using fluid acrylics and a simple flat brush.
➡ With winter on the horizon, I’m feeling inspired by cooler colors. This piece is particularly close to my heart because of its unique use of interference blue, which adds an icy touch that I think is quite special.

Starting with preparing the canvas and then moving on to layering the blues, each step is a mix of careful planning and embracing the unexpected. The transformation brought about by the interference colors under different lights is something I love, and adding copper not only contrasts but also brings a cozy warmth to the piece. A bit of fluid titanium white throws in an abstract vibe, making the painting more open for your own interpretation.

When I share the final piece, it's not just about showing off another painting; it's about sharing a part of my journey, experimenting with techniques, and the beautiful ways colors can come together. This botanical beauty painting is a piece of me, a reflection of my love for playing with colors and shapes.
