Marquis Bowden was born and raised by his grandma in Compton, California. When running found him after college basketball, his whole life changed. Marquis moved out to one of the meccas of distance training—Boulder, Colorado—to chase his goal of fulfilling his potential as a marathoner. Marquis is one of the most grateful, humble, and hardworking dudes you'll ever meet. Marquis has been Bandit family since the beginning and we're honored to help tell a bit of his story.

Marquis is lining up to the start of the 2024 Boston Marathon on Monday 4/15 to give it everything he's got.
