Machining Shop
Turning crankshaft big end bearings. Grinding a crankshaft cogwheel seat. Honing cylinders. Tactile coordinate measurement of a fourcylinder crankcase. Pressingin the valve seat inserts in boxer cylinder head. Robot welding of an aluminium tank Hand welding of an aluminium frame. Robot welding of a tubular steel lattice frame. Hand welding of a tubular steel lattice frame.
Engine Production
Preassembly of piston and connecting rod. Piston is assembled in the engine, left. Preassembly of the gearbox. Application of sealant to the gearbox . Installation of the gearbox in the engine. Application of sealant to the clutch case cover and installation. Mounting of the gearbox and clutch case cover in the automatic screwin station. Classification of the clutch and installation. Ventilspielmessmaschine. Adjustment of the valve play using a valve play measuring device.Leak test. Cold test system.
Paint Shop
Application of the primer. Application of the motorcycle's paintwork. Clear topcoat painting cabin. Application of clear topcoat. Finishing belt. A tank is manually aligned.
Motorcycle Assembly
Engine hangs on a C hook. Frame and engine are married together. Cable laying. Handlebar assembly. Installation of the rear axle drive. Cable laying for ABS sensor line. Installation of the front wheel in the Telelever. Assembly of the luggage plate and bridge. Installation of the rear wheel. Assembly of the rear silencer. Assembly of the side fairing. Assembly of the radiator fairing. Assembly of fairing components. Installation of the seat. Installation of the passenger seat cover. Cleaning of the fairing.
Logistics
The assembly order is sent to the Packing Department. Disposable packaging is sealed in the wrapping machine. Dispatch.
