The second episode of my room renovation DIY project.
So today, I wanted to start with removing the flooring, which I thought it would just have plywood underlayment but turns out the flooring was directly nailed to the beams. I stopped immediately and had to think about this.
Upon consideration, I decided that its best to keep the original flooring for extra sturdiness, and layer new flooring on top.

As for the sliding doors at the entrance, I’ll work on it later.

On the other hand, the storage space will be torn down leaving just the lintel
I want this space to be a walkinstorage space, so I took apart the bottom layer as well.

In the next video, I’ll attempt to cover the hole in the bottom of the storage space and give it a solid floor so people can stand on.
