This is a short video of a dragon boat drumming beating cadence for one of the competing dragon boats. It is from the 2nd Annual Montgomery Dragon Boat Festival in the capital city of Alabama on 27 August 2011. Naturally, it was held on the downtown riverfront of the Alabama River. Their were 57 teams this year. Each dragon boat was 44 feet long with a crew of 22. Twenty were paddlers, one drummer, and one person on the rudder. The races were 260 meters in length.
