Als Nick van Bloss im April 2009, begleitet vom English Chamber Orchestra, sein vielbeachtetes ComebackKonzert in der Londoner Cadogan Hall gab, stand unter anderem das Klavierkonzert BWV 1058 auf dem Programm. Nicht zuletzt für dessen Interpretation wurde van Bloss stürmisch gefeiert. So darf man es als Glücksfall betrachten, dass in eben dieser Besetzung nun eine komplette CD mit BachKonzerten vorliegt. The Independent hat diese Einspielung auch sogleich zur CD der Woche gekürt:
