Having been to Cancun a few times already, I was aware of the exorbitant prices taxis charge at the airport, and wanted to make sure I didn't fall for their trap again.

The only issue is, my options were either to 1. try and bargain the price down to something more reasonable, 2. do a 7 hour walk to my AirBNB with all my luggage or 3. walk outside of the range where Ubers are banned and call one for a much cheaper price.

To my surprise, none of the above 3 options came to pass. Enjoy!
