Expect an evening of interdenominational singing and music, come prepared to feel revived and make music! This evening will feature both Cameron Cody and James Kelly on dueling pianos.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Cameron “Cam” Cody is a native of Warner Robins, Georgia who currently resides in Houston, Texas. Cam is an active touring artist and hosts a weekly Facebook Live show featuring great hymns and gospel music of the church. Cam currently has out 4 albums (I Love to Tell the Story, Love Lifted Me, Merry Christmas from Concordia, and 30 Years of Cam) all of which are available on this website and all major platforms. Cam is also excited to currently be working on an album with Dove/Grammy Award Winner David T. Clydesdale called “The Symphony of Hymns”, which features compositions of favorites hymns of the church featuring two pianos, choir, and orchestra. The album will be recorded with the Prague Symphony Orchestra and the world premier will take place in Carnegie Hall in May of 2021. This team is also producing a new album for two pianos called Broadway Keyboard Classics! The work features the favorites of Broadway, two grand pianos, and symphony orchestra.
Cameron studied piano performance at Georgia Southwestern State University. Cam has performed at Carnegie Hall, once with conductor John Rutter at the baton. He has also performed for President George W. Bush in Perry, Georgia. As a soughtafter concert artist, accompanist, and teacher across the Southwest, Cam has accompanied at American Choral Directors Association and Georgia AllState choruses.
Previously, Cam has accompanied for the Golden Isles Community Chorus and Messiah choruses and was resident organist at Wesley United Methodist Church at Frederica in St. Simons Island, Georgia. A life long Methodist, he has served as organist for Annual Conference on multiple occasions. He has also been featured as a guest organist for a select choir from St. Martin in the Fields, London in a combined concert with the University Baptist Church Choir of Austin, Texas. Cameron is currently a member of the American Guild of Organists and the American Choral Directors Association, TCDA, and serves as a board member on the Houston Choristers Guild.
In August of 2016, Cam moved to Houston and began his position as Sanctuary Organist and Staff Accompanist at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, which features a large music program to support the worship needs of its nearly 8,000 members. During his time at Chapelwood, Cam has been integral in the design of the new organ and recent selection of a new Steinway concert grand piano for Sanctuary worship. In 2018, Cam was named Director of Music Ministry and Organist and has established thriving music ministry programs for orchestra, women’s choir, men’s choir, and an auditioned chamber chorale. As director, he has conducted choir and orchestra in the Rutter Requiem, Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living, a Patriotic Pops Concert and A Concert of Hope featuring John Rutter’s Mass of the Children.
Cam is also the designer and creator of Carols and Keyboards, a concert experience featuring four concert grand pianos, organ, and choir. The Houston based performances involve 120 performers on stage and have been attended by thousands of concert goers. Carols and Keyboards has quickly become a Houston tradition and is continuing with performances in December 2020. In September of 2018, Cam led the Chancel Choir during their performance tour to Germany and Austria where they performed in Salzburg Cathedral. This year, the choir toured the Georgia Coast and, in September of 2020, the choir will travel to Croatia, Slovenia, and Venice.
Cam has performed with many of the greats in Christian music and most recently with Mark Lowry and Tiffany Coburn.
Cameron is a Shigeru Kawai Artist and Owner. The Shigeru Kawai is Japan’s Premiere Piano and represents handcrafted excellence.


James Kelly is a multiinstrumental performer and vocalist. He can be found regularly performing at Houston area churches, weddings, concerts and as a studio musician. Born in Atlanta, GA and raised in Greenville, SC, James was classically trained in piano, violin, viola, and voice from childhood through college. He found a strong passion during high school for American folk instruments and music, with strong influences from bluegrass artists like Alison Krauss, Nickel Creek and Ricky Skaggs.
He currently plays weekly with Grammynominated singersongwriter Wayne Watson at Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Houston, as well as with the Chapelwood Chancel Choir, Women's Choir, Wesley Choir and Orchestra. He has also performed with other awardwinning gospel artists such as Michael Card and Sara Groves. Piano, guitar and mandolin are some of the instruments he regularly plays during performances.
