New originals and prints just launched on https://estherfranchuk.com! During those last 9 months, my husband and I went up and down and faced many challenges we wouldn’t expect to ever be able to comply with before.

It was a mixture of pain, bitterness, hope, goodness, burn out, character growing, celebration, perseverance, unity and trust.

To share about what this time meant for us by telling a bit more of the story took a lot more courage that I expected.

We went through an emotional, physical and spiritual roller coaster getting back to Germany to help my family and friends who were able to leave Ukraine .

Creating art that would bring hope and future into the darkness of the current state of war in my homeland was a choice out of strength yet a hard one to make.

It came out of deep rooted faith that the future and destiny of Ukraine isn’t cancelled or defined by the war. Overcoming, restoration and healing could and would happen faster than we think. God’s hand, His favor and His promises are still truth, even when the reality looks dark and twisted.

I want beauty & hope to be in every heart and every house to give this sense of comfort and goodness that is not found in circumstances but comes from deep within. Knowing God is with us and for us and light is always going to overcome the darkness.
