Eight STEPS TO REPAIR A SKYLIGHT LEAK:
1. Tape off with masking tape on the glass or plexiglass, leaving approximately two inches of space away from the frame
2. Take course sandpaper (80 grid) and score the glass between the masking tape and frame to roughen up the surface for better bonding
3. Wipe both surfaces, the glass, and the metal frame clean with Laquer Thinners or Acetone. Make sure to remove any Silicone residue
4. Apply one coat of Super Silicone Seal liberally, covering the glass and frame
5. Embed Polyester Fleece into the Super Silicone Seal, making sure to cover the metal and glass equally
6. Ad a second coat of Sealant over the Polyester fleece. Make sure that no fleece material is visible
7. Remove the masking tape
8. If necessary, apply a 3rd coat of Super Silicone Seal after 24 hours
