Before going over select Supreme Court cases, it's important to know what's inside. What the title of the case tells us, alternate case titles, identifying rights violations, and the various opinions of the courts.

In the video, we define: In Re, Versus, Majority, Dissenting, Concurring, and Plurality opinions, and Precedent.

This video is meant as an introduction to the Impact of Select Supreme Court cases unit for middle and high school Civics classes. It can also be used as a quick study guide before a test, or as remediation after a test.
