I have had many conversations with paddlers about kayaks over the years and it still baffles me why people get stuck on specifications when they are deciding on what kayak is best for them. Sure, numbers are important, but they really don't tell the whole story.

Sitting in and paddling a kayak will tell a paddler more than any number will. Why do we get so stuck on them anyway?
