The 26" toolbox is from Home Depot ($15 Husky). The purpose of this build is to incorporate all the "lessons learned" from my previous builds. These things are actually called solar powered portable battery box AC generators. This unit will replace the dual ammocan 12v solar power generation system I had on my backyard patio. I had issues with cooling and battery paralleling. I also did not have any lighting or useful DC access points. I also wanted it compact, safer, and watertight (it is not "waterproof"). This unit will run my patio TV and soundbar speaker system. One of my pergola mounted SunPower 435w 48v solar panels will be wired in to power/charge everything. The solar charger inside this unit is a 20a EPever Tracer MPPT. Inverter is a pure sine wave 300w Aims unit. The batteries are sealed AGM 35aH (Interstate Batteries Group U1 size). The fuse block is a Blue Sea Systems 12circuit with NEG buss and cover (available on Amazon). I used all rated THHN stranded wires from Home Depot. All connector and terminals were custom made. The tray system is removable...and secures the batteries tight. The LED marker lights are 12v. The switch is a DPDT (two circuit switch). Weight is about 5560 lbs (my best guess). It is NOT considered "portable". More like transportable...ie, you can move it around if needed. Costs were kept down because I gutted one of those ammo cans for parts. Lithium batteries and 24v would be awesome...but, the cost of the batteries would be close to $500.

Bossy comments (like, "You need to do this or that") will likely be laughed off and deleted. Hitting the "thumbs down" is actually good for my viewership...but, if you really don't like a video, don't watch it. Why not just grow a pair and actually leave an comment if your butt hurts? Better yet, create your own content and see how that goes for ya. Biblical quotes/preaching/condescending or sanctimonious remarks...not allowed here. Take your nasty crudeness (Mr or Mrs High & Mighty superiority complexes), dramafilled lifestyle, and fester on someone else's Channel. If you have thinskin or are easily offended...don't watch my content. Your First Amendment rights do NOT apply here. Offenses I deem inappropriate will be reported to the proper agencies...and action will be taken (guaranteed!). Don't push your luck. Bottom line, being nice/respectful/positive will go a LONG way here. Sharing DIY ideas/helping others with their builds/saving money/having fun/sparking interest with your own DIY creations is what this Channel is all about. Lastly, this is my backyard/channel...like it or leave it. There are no "bad" videos out there (you can actually learn a lot from others who do things differently or are learning). So, have FUN while your here, learn something, and make the world a better place.
