Nyx became a proud mother, but with some difficulty, being her first birth.

The vet advised to assist her if she accepted us and to make sure that the kittens were kept under close observation.

That being said please stop reacting emotionally to the video and come up with advice that cats know what they are doing, that they need to be left alone and that it is not natural what is happening here. Vets included! Maybe you are right, but not in this case!

You haven't been there and you can't give your opinion just because you see reality in one way. So please STOP being omniscient! You are not!

The birth lasted about 2 hours and half and here is just a piece of it. At the end we have five beautiful and healthy sphynx kittens.

We all stood by her and supported as much as we could, especially Patrick, Nyx being his beloved cat.

As you can see in the video, Nyx is a loving and gentle mother with her kittens. She was very brave and did not complain at all.
