Brainstorming ideas for upcoming water harvesting volunteer activities within the Agua Dulce HOA. This video supports our upcoming community walkthrough planned for August 5, 2023 forwarded as an eBlast by the Water Harvesting Chair:

Water Harvesting and Erosion Control Survey

In line with the Water Harvesting and Erosion Control charter, the Chair will host a common area survey on Saturday, August 5 at 7:00 AM starting at the gatehouse. The purpose is to flag locations for basinandswale development or improvement prior to mulch application and new plantings in the Fall. The survey will take approximately 90 minutes. No digging will take place, rather we will share and solicit feedback on promised volunteer activities that will take place once the weather cools down.

This activity is in line with Brad Lancaster's first principle: "Observe where the water flows and how. What is working, what is not? Build on what works." In support of the same, a short video has been prepared. This video will be referenced during the walkthrough and is available for those who wish to review in advance or can't make it on August 5. For those who wish to attend, please bring a widebrimmed hat and water.
