The Secret is out! Here is my recipe for an easy mix to make cell activator out of American Floetrol. My goal is to make it as easy as possible so that you can spend time painting and less time mixing up cell activators!

Here is my recipe:

2 tsp Amsterdam Titanium White or Oxide Black
4 tsp Flood Floetrol
1 Tsp white archival PVA glue (Lineco)
15 drops Minwax Pre Stain Wood Conditioner

Mix well and store in an air tight container. Use in a well ventilated area.

I recommend that you use an archival glue because it will be less likely to turn yellow overtime. I have heard from many artists who use Elmers glue all that sometimes it will turn their paintings yellow. The Lineco glue that I used is available on Amazon.
