Adapalene and tretinoin are commonly found and used in the form of a gel, cream, or lotion to treat acne and other skincare issues.

I am switching back to an old dermatologist and my appointment isn’t until February so I decided to try out a more gentle retinoid so I wouldn’t start to break out. I’ll be back on tretinoin soon. I know there are people out there who experience mild to moderate acne and may not need tretinoin to treat their concerns. Also, it can be a bit confusing to understand the differences in Differin and tretinoin so I hope this helps! Be sure to seek the help and advice of a professional like a dermatologist or a licensed esthetician.
