Acura MDX Valve Clearance Adjustment

In this episode I will be adjusting valve clearances for my 2008 MDX, which is applicable to all second gen MDX (20072013) and many other cars equipped with a Honda V6 engine.

You will also learn how to replace all sorts of gaskets and seals including throttle body, intake manifold and its cover, head cover gaskets and bolt grommets as well as spark plug tube seals.

New throttle body gasket: 16176RCAA02
New intake manifold gasket: 17105RCJA01
New intake manifold cover gasket: 17146R70A01
New head cover gasket set (Same for front and back, so you'll need two. Includes one head cover gasket, three spark plug tube seals and five head cover bolt grommets): 12030RYEA01

20102013 MDX:
New throttle body gasket: 16176RYEA10
New intake manifold gasket: 17105RCJA01
New intake manifold cover gasket: 17146R70A01
New head cover gasket set (Different for front and back. Includes one head cover gasket, three spark plug tube seals and five head cover bolt grommets): 12030R70A00 (front); 12050R70A00 (rear). You'll also need Hondabond or similar sealant for the 20102013 cars for head cover gaskets.
