Our pond dries up every year, so I spent a lot of time gathering tadpoles and relocating them to some other body of water, but since the acquisition of a tractor with a loader and backhoe, we followed the water! The pond is right at the water table, so if we have to we just dig deeper until we hit water. These little guys were the first years after we did this, I believe. We had a lot of frogs that year.
