This is Part 1 of 2 of my struggle to refloat this 20ft Beach Cat. Due to a misguided thinking on the hull design of this boat, it took me about twice as long as it should’ve to get this boat refloated and pumped out, but as I always say, adaptability is a necessary skill in this line of work. I thought I could pump out the hull from the openings in the front of the pontoons, but it turns out I needed to lift the entire boat out of the water to pump it out. I also kill a lapel mic and a supposedly waterproof spotlight and forget my spare drain plugs
